This November, FLEX Studio joins forces with COMO Shambhala Singapore to launch The Founder’s Pilates Series, a new program of private classical Pilates sessions that unite world-class expertise with the pursuit of holistic wellbeing. The partnership brings together FLEX’s mastery of the classical Pilates method and COMO Shambhala’s legacy of transformative wellness, creating an experience that combines authenticity, precision, and the mindful luxury that both brands are known for.

FLEX Studio brings its two decades of classical Pilates expertise in Hong Kong and Singapore to COMO Shambhala’s serene wellness space, where the emphasis is on resilience, vitality, and intentional living. Each session in The Founder’s Pilates Series is designed to build strength, improve posture, and enhance mobility through the original classical Pilates system developed by Joseph Pilates himself. The sessions follow a bespoke, 55-minute format that begins on the Reformer to align and strengthen the body, before progressing to the Chair and Barrel, deepening stretch and control with every movement.
True to the Classical Lineage
The Founder’s Pilates Series is performed exclusively on Gratz apparatus, the equipment built to Joseph Pilates’ exact specifications. This ensures every movement maintains the precision, resistance, and alignment intended by the founder of the method. The result is a practice that feels both grounded and elevated, an approach that celebrates the original discipline of Pilates while adapting it for the modern body.
Guided by a team of highly trained Flex instructors, each with over 600 hours of study and practice, sessions are tailored to meet individual needs while staying true to the Classical lineage. Led by Heather Thomas, FLEX Studio’s founder and Asia’s Lead Classical Pilates Educator for REAL Pilates, the program represents the highest standard of expertise in Asia.
