VIE ACTIVE’s Beach Workout

The apparel brand’s co-founder Noa Ries walks, or rather runs, jumps and leaps the talk, and here her beach workout session is taken from her blog.

There’s nothing like a beach session with your besties to motivate you to workout! VIE Active co-founder Noa, takes us through her favorite beach work out on the sand.

Move 1: Lunges (12 each side)
Do 12 stationary lunges on each leg. Keep the front knee tracking in line with the ankle and drop the back knee to the ground.

Move 2: Squats/squat jumps (20 – 10 fast jumps, 10 slow squats)
Make sure you drop below parallel on your squat to activate your glutes and hamstrings.

Move 3: Partnered Push Ups (10 push ups)
Can be performed on your knees or your toes.

Move 4: Shuttle Runs (4 x 25m)

Move 5: Burpees (10 reps)
Jump up, jump down into a push up position, lower the chest then hips, then jump back up.

Complete this entire workout 3 to 4 rounds through.
