It’s Week 12 of Our Summer Series – HIIT Training!

Welcome to Week 12 of our Summer Video Series, the last video for the season (see you in the studio soon!).

This week, FLEXtreme Director Andrea Ramirez continues her fitness workout with the trusty exercise ball, an easy way to improve balance, strength and to give your entire body a much-needed stretch while on holidays this summer. Andrea is a highly experienced trainer who has lived and breathed the health industry her entire life. Here, she shows how simple moves can have a big impact. How many repetitions you do of these is up to you, but Andrea recommends between 8-10 of each. As always, remember to engage your core to protect your back, stretch before and after and if you have any pain, modify the moves to suit. To avoid injury, watch the video carefully before you begin, as this will ensure you can see Andrea’s correct alignment.

Simply grab a ball, a mat and enjoy!

Exercises:

  • Squat with fit ball
  • Knees to fit ball (standing)
  • Side lunge with fit ball (both legs)
  • Push up with feet on fit ball
  • Fit ball crunch
