Born with Pes Planus or “flat feet”, Kristy turned to Pilates to address the discomfort of her condition, which also affected her posture over time. Through a consistent practice, she found the pain around her feet significantly decrease as well as noted an improvement in her posture. According to Kristy, Pilates is more than just a workout – it’s also a mind-body connection that brings people joy as it did her. Over the years, she has become more aware of her own body and discovered other benefits from The Method such as strength and flexibility. She says, “I’m totally in love with the Classical Pilates System and I wish to share this with more people!”
Kristy is currently undergoing the certification process and apprenticeship under the Real Pilates New York Teacher Training Programme.
