Originating from a technique created by Joseph H. Pilates more than 70 years ago, Pilates movements are based on proper breathing techniques, which activate core stabilizing muscles, segmental articulation of the spine, organization of the shoulder girdle and ribcage, and proper postural alignment of the spine on lower extremities. The result is a strong, long, lean body that displays notably improved flexibility, balance, coordination and posture.

Open Studio
Open Studio Sessions are ‘supervised’ Pilates self practice. Clients are given a bespoke workout program based on previous private sessions with an instructor; the client then practices this bespoke programme in the open studio setting, held in our beautiful and spacious private studio. The programme will be progressed over time, utilizing all Pilates apparatus. The goal is to enable each client to self-improve at a faster rate, think for themself and fully concentrate on their body and its movement. Up to three clients at a time may book 60 minute slots on the hour or half-hour and workout under the careful guidance of our Senior Instructor(s).
