Prepare Or Regain Your Body With Prenatal And Postnatal Pilates And Yoga In HK
It’s important to consult your physician before commencing an exercise regime before, during or after pregnancy. Each of these programs runs for a duration of 60 minutes.
Leading a healthy lifestyle before, during and after pregnancy is important for the health of both you and your baby. Our sessions focus on gentle movements that provide a variety of benefits according to your stage of pregnancy.
Prepare your body for one of life’s most exciting events with Prenatal Yoga at one of our conveniently located fitness centers. Prenatal yoga is a great way to tone and strengthen safely while reducing anxiety through breathing and relaxation techniques. In each class, our instructor will guide you through: asanas to correct postural and spinal alignment to avoid pregnancy related back pain; asanas for optimal fetal positioning; yoga and birthing breathing; and more.
Prenatal Pilates Exercises
Our prenatal Pilates class in HK incorporates both mat work and Allegro exercises to prepare your body for the birth of your baby. Modifications for each trimester are given, enabling participants to achieve optimum shape for the much-awaited arrival of their little ones. Our prenatal Pilates exercises aim to help expectant mothers: strengthen the lower abdominal region to support the growing baby and thereby alleviate lower back pain; tone the pelvic floor muscles in preparation for delivery (and aid in recovery), improve posture (neck, shoulders & mid-back); and develop an awareness of deep breathing to assist movement, among many benefits.
Postnatal Pilates Workout
Our postnatal Pilates workout incorporates both mat work and Allegro exercises for optimum toning in the minimum amount of time. The class is suitable for mothers in varying postnatal stages, even those with older children who feel they haven’t recovered their pre-pregnancy shape. Postnatal Pilates strengthens the muscles of the lower abdominal region and pelvic floor to create a muscular “corset” to support the spine. It can help participants re-discover their pre-pregnancy body by focusing on balance, posture and breath to facilitate movement.
