Find your traditional postures reinvented in the fabric giving new challenges to alignment, strength and flexibility Release your spine in decompressing inversions and enjoy deeper backbends. Open your hips while being supported by the fabric. Create new challenges for your core and upper body by taking planks and arm balances up in the air. Flying Arts 60mins Multilevel
Flying Arts is the perfect workout for body and mind. A combination of conditioning, flexibility and aerial arts makes this a well-rounded class working the whole body. Using the fabric to support the body fully or partially, flexibility can be increased safely at ones own level. Flying Arts strengthens the upper back and arms as the participant learns to flip and lift the body in and out of postures. During inversions the spine is decompressed and back bends become easier and deeper. The inverted motion and complexity of aerial sequences challenges the mind and muscle memory as the world is flipped upside down. Core muscles and correct posture are addressed throughout the class as they are integral to all movement within or without the fabric. Classes are limited to 8-12 participants, allowing for close instructor supervision and individual correction.
